Welcome to the Bat Chapel

Parody Hero. Real Faith.

Learn to do good. Seek justice. Help the oppressed. Defend the cause of orphans. Fight for the rights of widows.
(Isaiah 1:17 NLT)

Donning the Cowel of Salvation, the Utility Belt of Truth and wielding the Batarangs of the Spirit, The Bat Pastor fights injustice and bad theology. Behind the cowel, the Bat Pastor is an author, pastor, and speaker who has a love of Geek-culture.

Most of his speaking engagements are as his non-billionaire secret pastor identity (okay It’s not that secret), but the Bat Pastor is available for opening prayers or speaking at your geek or superhero related events.

If you’ve met the Bat Pastor or have serious questions about the Bible or faith, we’d love to have you comment at the bottom of the page.

Look for the Bat Pastor on Twitter, Instagram, at Comicons, or other events.

When I was a child, I had heroes like Superman, Sgt. Rock, the Lone Ranger, Roy Rogers, and Superman (when I was a little older). As a young Christian, I learned about “Heroes of Faith” like David, Moses, Joshua and Caleb, Sampson, and others. Today, I can add “The Bat Pastor” to a list of heroes I can introduce the children in my church, community, and life to. Looking forward to reading and learning more about the Adventure of The bat Pastor! 🙂 This world needs a real Christian Hero!

Thank you, Mr. Wininger. I think this world is filled with Heroes of Faith, we need only work together and train up others. I don’t think this Kingdom Knight meets the ranks of the heroes you listed, but I pray the Lord encourages and strengthens others through this League of Heroes. Thank you for joining in.
