Franklin P. Masters is a pastor’s pup, avid barker, and an imagination-based writer like his favorite canine protagonist, Snoopy. Sadly, the early days of Franklin’s life could rival his hero’s “dark and stormy night.” Neglected and abused, Franklin was rescued from a cruel puppy mill by a rescue organization in New Hampshire, which led to his new life of hope with Joshua and Gina Masters.

Franklin enjoys long runs on the beach, coffee cuddles, and playing fetch. And his passion for pizza crust, broccoli stalks, and “pupcorn” has led him to develop excellent tableside begging skills. His cuteness cannot be denied, and his button eyes and gumdrop nose won’t hesitate to remind you of that when he wants something. From a place of utter rejection, Franklin is now dearly loved.

Joshua J. Masters is a pastor, author, and speaker with a heart for encouraging others. His book on prayer, American Psalms, was a Serious Writer’s Book of the Decade finalist. He’s been featured on CBN Television, HIS Radio, the Light Radio Network, and is a regular teacher and speaker for large groups. A self-proclaimed sci-fi and comic book geek, Josh loves film, pop culture, and all things creative.
